A Cinemalaya 2022 finalist and a two time FAMAS awardee for cinematography. Rain is a contract film director of VIVA Entertainment and a multi-awarded cinematographer for his films Bhoy Instik, Silong, Area, and Magkakabaung. He also done works for TV; Hanggang Saan and The Greatest love to name a few. He trained under JA Tadena and has worked with local and foreign directors for full-length films, commercials, TV shows, music videos, documentaries and the like. He is also the Philippine Liaison Officer for Asean International Film Festival and Awards and the representative for Asia Pacific Film Festival
